All Endicott voicemail boxes must be secured with a unique 6-digit PIN code to ensure the College's sensitive data remains private and secure. You must supply this PIN code when checking your voicemail or making changes to the Message Center settings for your extension. Changes to PIN codes do not impact voicemail-to-email delivery.


The instructions below detail the steps required to set a new Voicemail PIN/password on your voicemail box or to change the existing PIN/password to a new value. Please note that these instructions only apply to voicemail boxes associated with user extensions. Separate instructions are available for mailboxes associated with Shared/Bridged extensions. Setting or Changing Your Voicemail PIN from an Endicott Desk Phone (For On-Campus Employees):


Follow the steps below to set or change your Endicott Voicemail PIN from a desk phone on campus: 

  1. Call extension “2266” on your desk phone to access the Endicott Voicemail system. 
  2. If prompted, supply the current PIN associated with your mailbox. If you have not yet set a PIN, please ask Campus Technology for a default PIN. 
  3. When you receive the automated Message Center greeting, press “8” and “4” on your phone’s keypad to modify your PIN settings
  4. When prompted to change your PIN code, enter a new 6-digit PIN code. Press “#” when finished
  5. When prompted, confirm the new 6-digit PIN code. Press “#” when finished
  6. If successful, you will receive a confirmation message
  7. Hang up the call and repeat step 1
  8. When prompted, supply your new PIN code


You've logged in successfully once you receive the automated Message Center greeting!


Setting or Changing Your Voicemail PIN from an Outside Line (For Remote Employees):


Follow the steps below to set or change your Endicott Voicemail PIN remotely: 

  1. From an outside line (e.g., your mobile phone), dial (978) 232-2266 to access the Endicott Voicemail system
  2. When you hear the auto-attendant, immediately press “#” to interrupt the standard menu and access the voicemail menu. 
  3. If prompted, supply the current PIN associated with your mailbox. If you have not yet set a PIN, please ask Campus Technology for a default PIN. 
  4. When prompted, enter your four-digit extension number
  5. When you receive the automated Message Center greeting, press “8” and “4” on your phone’s keypad to modify your PIN settings
  6. When prompted to change your PIN code, enter a new 6-digit PIN code. Press “#” when finished
  7. When prompted, confirm the new 6-digit PIN code. Press “#” when finished
  8. If successful, you will receive a confirmation message
  9. Hang up the call and repeat steps 1-3
  10. When prompted, supply your new PIN code


You've logged in successfully once you receive the automated Message Center greeting!


Troubleshooting Issues With Voicemail PINs:

  • If you encounter issues setting or updating the voicemail PIN on your Voicemail Box, please open a support ticket at https://endicott.freshservice.com/support/home. One of the Campus Technology team members will happily assist you in resolving your issue.

  • To protect voicemail boxes from "brute force" password attacks, Endicott's phone system will "lock" access to a voicemail box after three unsuccessful PIN/password attempts. Should this occur when accessing a your voicemail box, please wait approx. fifteen (15) minutes and try again. If you are still unable to access the voicemail box, please follow the steps below to regain access:
    1. Open a ticket with Campus Technology to "unlock" your voicemail box
    2. Retry your PIN to see if access has been restored
    3. If a PIN is irrecoverable, Campus Technology can reset the PIN to a default value.
