Important Note: If the YouTube channel you're uploading to is relatively new, you may experience daily upload limits depending on how many videos you're trying to publish.


1. Sign into your YouTube channel.


2. Click on the "Create" button in the top right of the screen.


3. Click on the "Upload Video" button.


4. Click the "Select Files" button to locate the media on your device that you'd like to upload. Or, you can drag and drop files into the white box.


5. Once you've located and uploaded your media, under the "Details" tab you can give your video a title (this is required), a description of your video (optional), once the video has finished processing you'll be able to select from a number of still photos that are grabbed from your video to be used as a thumbnail, or you can upload your own photo, you can add your video to an already existing playlist or create a new playlist, and for "Audience" select the option "No, it's not made for kids."


6. Under the "Visibility" tab, select whether you want to make your video "Private," "Unlisted," or "Public."


7. You can then set a scheduled day and time when the video will be published, or you can instantly publish the video.
