When dealing with suspected phishing emails, the first thing to do is to report it via Google’s built in report Phishing button.

You can find this button by selecting the “More” option in the top right of an individual email which is denoted by three vertical dots as shown in the image below.



This will submit the email for review by our Google admins who can take additional actions such as blocking the sender and deleting the offending email from another user’s inbox.

Note: Report Phishing is a separate action from the “Report Spam” button found above an email. The two options serve different purposes and generate different alerts in our system.
